ready established by the school. The Fund now contains over $4000 and will be put into use the coming fall school term. Students who wish to further their education may borrow as much as $500 a school term.
In second place in the contest was Nancy Thornhill of Boston, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Ashby Thornhill, She was escorted by William Walther. Brenda Welch of Flint Hill was third. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elwood J. Welch, Flint Hill, and was escorted by Walter Grlmsley. Other corv testants were Sharon Suter escorted by Kenneth Bywaters and Joan Welch with Dale Welch as her escort.
The theme of the party was "Hello, Young Lovers", and the auditorium was decorated to carry this out. Dancing and games furnished entertali> ment and refreshments were served in the cafeteria. The Scholarship Loan Fund is an extremely worthy project and has been well noup ished in its short existence. Though the school campaign is over for this year, contributions will be accepted at any time from anyone.
