Mrs. J. A. Elmore of Alexandria arrived Thursday for a visit at the home of her son in-law and daughter Mr. and Mrs. Charles B. Palmer. Mrs. Palmer’s brother-in-law and sister Mr. and Mrs. D. B. Hutcheson and son Drewry of Alexandria were visitors on Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Paul Smith and daughter Rachael of Albany, Ga. arrived Tuesday for a vis it of several days at the home of Mrs. Smith’s mother Mrs. F. Downing Wood.

The Rev. and Mrs. Charles F. Glaenzer attended the dedi cation of St. Paul’s on-the-Hill Sunday afternoon in Winchester.

Mr. and Mrs. George Morgan of Martinsville were over night guests Friday of Judge and Mrs. B. M. Miller and Saturday and Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas B. Massie.

Mrs. Carson Walters of Middletown, Mrs. George Haymaker of Front Royal and Mrs. Lawrence Orndorff of Cl&arbrook were visitors during the week of their aunt Miss Lottie Burton. Miss Burton entered the Warren Memorial Hospital in Front Royal Sunday for observation and treatment Dr. and Mrs. Howard Berger and Miss Adele Williams of Falls Church spent some time Sunday at the Berger’s home Clairmonte. Mrs. C. W. King returned to the Winchester Memorial Hospital Sunday for further treatment. Miss Lizzie Eastham of :Amissville was the week-end guest of her grandmother Mrs. IW. H. Massie, jr.

Jones, jr. and John R. DeBergh attended the V. P. I.-G. W. basketball game Wed nesday night in Washington, D. :C. and were guests following the game of Mr. and Mrs. H. Magruder Keyser in Fairfax. Mrs. Jesse Ward was in Colonial Heights on Sunday to visit her sister Mrs. I. T. Masloff who has recently been hospitalized an'd is recuperat ing at the home of her son. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Parker and family of Culpeper were Sunday guests of Mrs. Parker’s parents Mr. and Mrs. Taylor Updike. Mrs. E. M. Jones and son Ned Moffett Jones were visitors Thursday in Charlottesville.
