Capt. William Weiner of Bridgewater, formerly of Flint Hill, is a patient in New ton D. Baker Hospital, Ward 6, Martinsburg, w. Va. Mr. and Mrs. C. Dudley Wood and daughter of Atlanta, Ga. will arrive March 17 to spend a few days with Mr. and Mrs. B. J. Wood at Sunny Slope. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Miller were the week-end guests of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Howell at Madison Heights and welcomed their new granddaughter Christine Marie Howell. Horace C. Pullen is confined to his home by illness. Sunday visitors in the Pullen home were James Pullen and son Jimmie of Arlington, Mrs Bobbie Hawkins, also of Arlton and Mr. and Mrs. Earl Putnam of Front Royal. Joel Allan Clark, seven months old son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward E. Clark, returned to his home Sunday and is recuperating satisfactorily from heart surgery which he underwent two weeks ago in the University of Virginia lies pital. Mrs. T. C. Lea of Washington and Mrs. F. W. Spalding were Saturday night dinner guests of Mrs. G. W. Smith, Jr. Miss Carolyn Filler of Madi son College, Harrisonburg, was the week-end guest of Miss Jean Lillard. Mr. and Mrs. Carson Lillard were business visitors Monday in Alexandria. Mrs. Ida Trump has as her guest this week her grandson Craig Trump of Alexandria. Sunday guests of Mrs. E. M. Eastham and Mr. and Mrs. L. Burford were Mrs. Eastham’s nephews Granville East ham of Fairfax and Frank Eastham of Warsaw and Mrs. Frank Eastham. Mr. and Mrs. John Pullen and two children of Richmond were Sunday guests of Mr. Pullen's parents Mr. and Mrs. William E. Pullen at 'Caledonia*.
