Mr. and Mrs. John James of Midlothian \yere the guests Sunday of hitf* parents Mr. and Mrs. Norvel James and family Mrs. J. L. Walter returned to her home here Sunday after spending a winter vacation in Altamonte Springs, Fla. with her son-in-law and daughter Mr. and Mrs. Paul Marlowe. She arrived by train in Fred- j ericksburg knd was met by Mr. and Mrs. Stanish Riley. Pvt. Ed Oakes, who is stationed at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, Md., was a guest from Friday until Sunday of I the Rev. and Mrs. Charles Kindred and family. Pvt. Oakes is a brother of Mrs. Kindred. Mrs. Ruth Corbitt has returned to her home from a six week’s visit with her sisters, t Mrs. Corrie Harrison in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. and Mrs.j Lillian Campbell in Miami. While there Mrs. Corbitt visited friends and relatives in Clearwater, St. Petersburg and Port Charlotte on the west coast.
