Mrs. Annie L. Hitt
Mrs. Annie Louise Hitt, 88, widow of Harrison Turner Hitt of Amissville, died at her home Saturday, March 11, following a long period of declining health. She was a native of Rappahan nock County, daughter of the late James Addison and Louise Thompson Rollins. Surviving are two daughters Mrs. Mable Eisenmann of Amissville and Mrs. J. L. Spicer of Stevensburg; three sons, Edmund Hitt of Harrisonburg and Wilson and Leo nard Hitt of Washington, D.C. and one sister Mrs. Sadie Thornton of Havertown, Pa. A funeral service was held Monday at 2 p.m. from the Full Gospel Tabernacle at Amissville with the pastor the Rev. Claude C. McDaniel officiating. Interment was in the Hitt family cemetery. Pallbearers were Graham Hackley, James Bailey, Eddie J. Hitt, Eddie Robert Hitt, Lewis Judd, Thomas Rollins, Willie Rollins and Harry Matthews.
