Cancer Society Meeting March 28
' The Rappahannock County Chapter of the American Cancer Society will meet on March 28 at the Washington Baptist Church at 8 p.m. Mrs. Ruth Grantham, of the Richmond office, will be here to help launch the Cancer Crusade, iAll interested persons are invited to attend.

A Bake Sale will be held Sat urday, March 25, at the Washington Methodist Church from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Come select your baked goods for the weekend.
Easter Services
An Easter Sunrise Service will be held Sunday, March 26 ion the top of Red Oak Mountain ■ near Woodville, at 6 a. m. The Rev. B. Gale Titchenell will deliver the message and the choir of Forest Grove Baptist Church under the direction of the Rev. Charles Kindred i will sing. The Rev. William Harrison will have the invocation and benediction.
A Good Friday Service will be held at Amissville Baptist j Church from 12 noon until 13:30 p. m. These hours are symbolic of the time at which Christ was crucified. The service will consist of a series of short messages, seven in all, each one focusing on one of the last words of Christ. The messages will begin on the hour and half hour. There will be sacred music and time for meditation.
