Warden Training
Fifteen Game Warden Trainees selected from a field of 499 applicants will attend a special Game Commission Training School April 3-14 in Richmond, according to Law Enforcement Chief John McLaughlin. The Commission will utilize State Police Training Center facilities located off U. S. 60 for the two week training session. The new recruits will receive training In police procedures, laws, court procedure, fish and game management, public relations, equipment maintenance and paper work. Following this course, the men will serve a 12 month probationary period in the field.
