We would certainly like to thank all of those 4-H’ers and parents for the big part they played last Saturday In helping to make our 4-H Supper a big success - without your find help and cooperation there would be no supper. I believe that this activity shows that the county supports their 4-H Club members In at least one way. A little late but nevertheless a hearty congratulations go out to Susan Dodson, Carter Moffett, Susan Payne and Warren Beebe. These senior 4-H mem bers competed In our county demonstration contests on March 11 and as a result have won the right to represent Rappahannock County at the district contest In April. This week, March 19-25, has been designated as National Poison Prevention Week The fact that this proclamation has been made shows that this is Indeed a sei-ious problem In our country. In this area of accidental poisonings,j we find that children are our greatest victims. Studies have shown that the list of common chemicals and drugs, accident ally swallowed In large amounts to cause severe Illness or death In young children was headed by aspirins
