Mrs. Lloyd Campbell who was a patient in Warren Memorial Hospital Sunday through Tuesday of last week will go to University of Virginia in Charlottesville this week for further treatment. •Micky* Williams, son of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew R. Williams, who spent 2 years in the Army, including a tour of duty in Germany, returned to his home last Tuesday. He 6pent several days during the weekend visiting friends and relatives in Tennessee and Newport News. Mrs. Ermand Morris and Mrs. Judy Williams were hostesses at a Stork Shower in the Morris home last Saturday night. Others present included Minnie, Anna, Edith, Frances and Iva Williams, Marie Welch, Maude Lilly, Leta North, Esther Jenkins, Gladys Woodward, Mildred Jenkins, Judy Grimsley, Joyce Alexander, Mrs. McCleary, Ada and Myrtle North and Barbara Morris. Sending gifts but unable to attend were Gertrude Cameron, Brenda Jenkins, Naomi and Linda Dulin, Mrs. Sherman Williams, Eddie Settle, Ethel, Bertha and Betty Williams, Pearl Mills and Dor :as Kuser.

By Mrs. B. M. Varner Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Pillar recently returned from a visit to Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Mansfield in St. Petersburg and Edward N. Pillar in St. Augustine, Florida. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Brown and family of Hamilton were weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. J. Rodes Brown. Visiting on Saturday were Mr. and Mrs. J. Rodes Brown, Jr. and Curry Carter of Staunton. Harry Trescott has returned home from a week’s training at State Police School in Richmond.
