Wind, wind, go away; come again some other day. These were the sentiments of most Rappahannock residents last Wednesday night, after gale winds played havoc with any and everything that wasn’t pinned down' good. The roof, chimney and TV antenna at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Billy Smoot on the farm of the Robert Miko’s in Harris Hollow was swept away. Jerry Wayne Smoot and Craig Smoot survey the damage. This scene was not uncommon countywide.
