Rappahannock Rescue Squad took David Alther from the Updike Nursing Home to Warren Memorial Hospital on Friday. On Sunday they were on standby duty at the Point-to-Point Races at Thornton Hill Farm. Flint Hill Rescue Squad stood by at the Races Sunday and took Miss Jean Taylor, anaccident victim to Culpeper Memorial Hospital. On Friday E. J. Welch was taken to Warren Memorial Hospital following a logging accident. The Washington and Sperryville Fire companies went to a field fire Tuesday afternoon at Laurel Hills. The Amissville Fire Company responded to a field fire at Jeffersonton on February 28. March 5 the company went to a field and woods fire at Laurel Mills. The Amissville Rescue Squad took a woman from the Phillips home to Culpeper Hospital. On the 5th of March the squad went to Charlottesville to bring Mrs. Paul Suter back home. The same day Mrs. Eva Weakley was taken from the home of her daughter to Fauquier Hospital.
