Water-Sewage Plan
Completed By Firm
A comprehensive plan for water and sewage facilities for all of Rappahannock County has been made by the engineering firm of Martin, Clif-< ford and Associates, Stafford. The volume is complete and personnel from the engineering firm reviewed their findings at a special meeting of the Rappahannock Hoard of Supervisors last Thursday. A copy of the survey may seen at the office of K. M. Jones, Clerk. This survey comes at an opportune time, since the State Water Control Hoard has made it known that the pollution prol> lem of the Thornton River must be corrected. The engineers and Water Control Board members met with Sper ryville residents last Wednesday night to discuss the river which is polluted from raw sewage piped into it. The meeting included an explanation of what had to be done and a period In which question of the people were answered.
