Forty-six hounds were entered in the Hound Race which climaxed the card at the Rappahannock Hunt Point-to-Point Races Sunday. At the sound of the gun the dogs surged off in hot pursuit of a scent which had been dragged around the course. The animals spread out and take to the field in a picturesque setting in the foothills of the Blue Ridge. Number 9, owned by A. Lawton Blankenbaker of Madison County and trained and handled by Jack W. Bruce of Sperryville, took an easy victory.
