There wasn’t as much news at RCHS last week, just the normal learning process. The fourth six weeks period ends Monday, the 11th and students are cramming for those ole six weeks tests. Mr. Wingfield and a committee have met concerning the National Honor Society. They have decided that those people from grades 10, 11 and 12 who are scholastically qua 1 if led may be members; but a character trait evaluation sheet will also have to be filled out before final eligibility is determined.
Attention Juniors!! Wednesday, April 17, is the date for ordering your class rings, so keep it in mind. A committee of seniors is busy reviewing play books in an effort to select one for their play. A selection will be made within a few weeks. Male faculty members of RCHS are planning a basketball game with the Rappahannock Junior Chamber of Commerce. A date has not been set but I %ra, sure the game will be qiui* interesting. SCA members are discussing plans for the Sadie Hawkins dance scheduled for Friday, March 29. Admission is 350 a person and 500 a couple. This will be the last SCA dance of the year, so everyone make plans to attend. Five juniors took the National Merit Scholarship tests last Tuesday. Of course, we hope they did well. RCHS wishes the Turner Ashby Knights the very best of luck in the district tournaments.
