New Phone System For Chester Gap Firemen
Chester Gap Volunteer Fire Department announces a new phone system. A phone has been installed In a private residence where someone is in attendance at all times. The new number to call for fire or rescue squad is 635 5482.
Game Night Benefits Amissville VFD
The Amissville Fire Company will sponsor a Game Night Saturday, March 9 at the fire hall there. The public is invited to attend.
Arts & Crafts Meet Tues.
The Arts and Crafts Project will meet Tuesday, March 12th 10 a.m. at Cab-Inn, Sperryville. Anyone interested in almost any form of craft work is invited to join the group. Present projects are tote hags and lamp shades.

Saturday, March 30, has been the date selected for the Annual 4-H Supper. As in the past, the supper will be held at the Rappahannock High School and will be served from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. This year the menu will feature fried chicken, two vegetables, a salad, rolls and choice of pie for dessert. Price will be $1.25 adults, 750 for children under 12. Remember, this is the only event that the 4-H County Council has to accomplish goals and projects for the year, so support from 4-H members, parents and friends is greatly needed.
