Lebanon and Salem Baptist Churches, and the Gordon Thornhill family were dinner guests on Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Cary Thornhill. On Wednesday of last week Mrs. Jesse Hawkins, Mrs. George Butler, Sr., and Mrs. Cary Thornhill spent the day with their sister Mrs. Stant Weaver in Washington, Va. who recently returned home from the University of Virginia Hospital in Charlottesville.
Mr. and Mrs. Richard Welch and family of Broad Run were recent guests of Mrs. Welch’s parents Mr. and Mrs. Frank Anderson. Their Thursday guests were their sons Henry Anderson and daughter Peggy and Samuel Anderson of Marshall. Sunday guests of the Andersons were their son-inlaw and daughter Mr. and Mrs. Thornton Leach and daughter of Broad Run and Mr. Leach's brother Sam Leach of Middleburg. Also Samuel and Henry Anderson of Marshall.
