4-H County Council
Elects New Officers
The meeting of the 4-H County Council was held on Feb. 24, 1968 at 10 a.m. Amy Palmer, president, called the meeting to order. The song leader Lib Snead led us in some songs. Maury Raney, secretary, read the minutes of the last meeting. Amy Palmer adjourned the meeting for refreshments. After refreshments we had the election. New County Council officers: President, Mauri Raney; Vice President, Ricky Gore; Secretary, Janet Payne; Asst. Treas., Cassle Coates; Reporter, Lib Snead; Song Leader, Sharon Foster. Tour Committee: Sharon Foster, Amy Palmer, Ricky Gore, Franklin Williams. Supper Publicity Committee: Cassie Coates, Janet Payne, Ricky Gore, Robert Jenkins. Horse Show: Carolyn Glascock, Cassie Coates, Janet Payne, Rhonda Brown. Goals which we will try to achieve for 68 are: 1. To pay expenses fora 4-H leader to go to leadership conference.
