These messages are part of hat the Red Cross calls its Services to the Armed Forces Nationwide, they avrage 800 a day, to and from Vietnam alone. U. S. troops in thai land, Korea, and elsewhere have access to the same speedy Red Cross communica tion service. But there is much more. Floyd L. Pillow, Red Cross state relations representative has marked the beginning of Red Cross Month by revealing the sharp increase in Red Cross services to the armed forces, due largely to a mill tary buildup of more than 500, 000 men in South Vietnam. In Virginia, as in other states, Red Cross chapters have been reporting a corresponding in crease in services to thefami lies, dependents, and survivors of these men.
