Inspection fees of $2.00 (two dollars) may be charged in the future.
On and after July 1, 1968 the fee for a duplicate operators or chauffeurs license will be $1.00. The fee for a new or renewal operators license will be $7.00 and for a new or renewal chauffeurs license the fee will be $4.00.
On and after July 1, 1969 a minor of the age 16 years in addition to the existing requirements, must show satisfactory evidence that the minor has successfully completed a driver education course which has been approved by the State Dept, of Education.
All motor vehicles registered in Virginia must be inspected every six months, including motorcycles and trailers.

Increase in June
Visits to Shenandoah National Park during June were up 11.7% over June of 1967, Superintendent R. Taylor Hoskins reported today.
Total visits for the month were 262,100 as compared to 234,500 in June of last year. Percentage increase for the year to date (January — June) was 9.8% with 745,500 visits as against 678,900 for the six-month period in 1967.
Heavy travel continued into July with 57,745 visits recorded over the four-day Fourth of July weekend from July 4 through July 7. This was an increase of 6% over a comparable period in 1967 from July 1 through July 4 when visits totaled 54,328.
Hoskins said that despite the high visitation there were very few reports of visitor accident incidence, minor for the most part, and one small Fire that was quickly put out.
