Over 3000 Due at

VP I Animal Day

VPI officials are expecting more than 3000 livestock growers to attend the fifth annual Animal Industry Day at Blacksburg, Friday, July 26. Virginia Farm Bureau members are planning to tum out in large numbers for the event, including many from Orange, Madison and Greene Counties.

The local Farm Bureau will be represented by Sam Funkhouser and Ike Jeanes, president and vice-president, respectively. Directors going on the chartered bus include Randolph Colvin, W. W. Sanford, jr., Herbert Matthews III, John G. Carpenter, John Lucas, Charles A. Wright, THt»mas Graves and Robert Schwartz. Committee heads making the trip will be Richard L. Sanford, John C. Estes, Mrs. Betty Schwartz and George M. King.
