Arlington, sister of the bridegroom, was matron of honor. She wore a long gown of mint green lace over nylon and had a matching headpiece. Her flowers were yellow mums.
Bridesmaids were Mrs. Anna Alley of Leesburg, a cousin of the bride and Mrs. Pat Kilby of Warrenton, a cousin of the bridegroom. Their long gowns were mint green taffeta of Empire design. * They had matching headpieces and carried white mums edged with green.
Milton Switzer, Jr. of Arlington was the best man for his brother-in-law and ushers were Rodney Hicks of Bealeton, brother of the bride and Gene Marshall Dodson of Castleton, brother of the bridegroom.
A reception was held in the church social hall after the ceremony. Assisting with the reception were Mrs. Linwood Yowell, Mrs. James Bawkey, Miss Diane Bawkey and Mrs. John S. Bawkey.
Mrs. Hicks chose for her daughter’s wedding a pink silk dress with white accessories and a corsage of white mums.
Mrs. Dodson, mother of the bridegroom, wore a blue silk gown with white accessories and h$r flowers were white mums.
