Mr. and Mrs. Earl J. Kilby of Sperryville, Va., announce the engagement of their daughter, Betty Kay, to William Blair Lowry, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Blair Lowry of Templeton, Pa.
Mr. Lowry is presently serving in the U. S. Army, stationed at Fort Lee, Va.
A fall wedding is planned.
Miss Kilby is a 1963 graduate of Rappahannock County High Scfiool.

Mrs. Henry Magruder Keyser, jr. and two sons Scott and Joe were over-night guests Monday of Mrs. H. M. Keyser. Scott and Joe are spending this week with theii grandmother.
Sp/4 James R. Shaw has returned from a 14 months tour in Okinawa and with Mrs. Shaw and son returned from Okinawa about a month ago.

/Orman David Palmer arrived Thursday from Memphis, Tenn. for a two weeks leave with his parents Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Palmer at Scuffle Hill. Airman Palmer will next be assigned to the Naval Air Base at Oceana, Va. Mrs. Mabel Harrell and Miss Claudia Harrell of McLean were guests last Tuesday of Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Hall at Rose Hill. Their guests for the day on Thursday were Mrs. Ethel Bitner, Mrs. C. W. Lion and Mrs. J. C. Goode of Manassas. Weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. George H. Davis, Jr. were Miss Dorothy Taylor Davis of Madison College, Reverdy Jones, III of Fairmont, W. Va. and George H. Davis, III of Bowling Green.
