A Palm Sunday worship Service will be held at the Amissville Methodist Church at 11 a.m Sunday, March 30. The Rev. W A. Layman will conduct th< ,, ’ service.
A special service will be held at the Flint Hill Methodist Church on the Thursday night preceding Easter, Maundy Thursday, April 3 at 7:30 p.m. The Lord’s Supper will be celebrated at this time. A cordial invitation is issued jto attend this worship service.
On Easter morning a Sunrise Service will be held at the Flint Hill Methodist Church at 6 a.m. All churches of the county are invited to attend.
A Good Friday service will be held at the Amissville Baptisf Church with the Rev. W. A. Layman and the Rev. Charles Kindred officiating. The doors of the church will be open from 12 noon until 3:30 p.m.
Easter Sunday morning service will be held at Amissville Baptist Church at the regular hour of 11 a.m.
A Sunrise Service will be held Easter Sunday morning at 5:30 a.m. on Red Oak Mountain with the Rev. John Gabbert bringing the message. The service is sponsored by Forest Grove Baptist Church which cordially invites the public to participate.
Breakfast will be served at the old Forest Grove school building from 7 to 9 a.m. Easter Sunday morning. A free will offering will be taken. Breakfast will consist of hot cakes, sausage, eggs, coffee and juice. This is for the benefit of the Forest Grove Baptist Church.
