This however, is contrary to the statewide trend of those engaged in milk production which shows a declining percentage from 60 in 1900 to 6% in 1968. Thus, though there are fewer milk producing cows in Virginia, both cattle and men have increased their efficiency to the point ol successfully keeping the supply ol this wonderfully balanced food ir production to the rising population, and all at a relatively low price. It was pointed out thal the Virginia Tech Dairy Judging Team is the champion of the United States.
Another guest was Allison Atwood of Front Royal who, as governor of Zone 8, welcomed the Amissville Ruritan Club into a new alignment of Ruritan Clubs to that distict.
