We, the undersigned, Claude A. Stokes, Jr., Chairman, and W. Hunter de Butts, Secretary of the Democratic Legislative District comprised of the counties of Fauquier, Rappahannock and Warren, do hereby certify that the following is a true and correct copy of a resolution adopted at a meeting of rhe (said Committee held at the offices of Armstrong and Gibb, Front Royal, Virginia, on tbc 17th day of March, 1969.
"Resolved that the nomination of the member of the House of Delegates of Virginia from the Legislative District comprised of the Counties of Fauquier, Rappahannock and Warren, to lie voted upon in the General F,lection to be held in said legislative District on No vemher 4, 1969, and shall be by direct primary method, and that the Primary for the nomination of said Democratic candidate for said office shall he held on July 19, 1969, pursuant to the provisions of the State Primary Iaiw, and that all candidates for said office shall tile their declaration of candidacy with Claude A, Stokes, Jr., Chairman of the Democratic Legislative District ( ommittee for the Counties of Fauquier, Rappahannock and Warren, front Royal, Virginia, at least ninety (99) days before the said Primary to be held on July la, 1969, and that if not more than one candidate tiles for snid position, he be declared the Democratic’ nominee of the Party for the House of Delegates „f Virginia from the aforesaid District."
