Ham-Turkey Dinner

Saturday, March 29 is the date of the annual Ham and Turkey Dinner sponsored by the Amissville Ruritan Club and held at the fire hall in Amissville. Hours for serving are from 5 to 8 p.m. The men of the club will prepare and serve the dinner, with the ladies assisting behind the scenes. The dinner is $2 for adults and $1 for children under 12, all you can eat of the delicious ham, turkey and trimmins. There will be a door prize and a drawing following the dinner.

Receives FBLA Award

Terry Russell, son of Mr. and Mrs. Emory Russell of Flint Hill received a “Superior Rating” award for his essay entered in the Future Business Leaders of America contest, awarded at the Madison Regional * meeting at Madison College March 22nd.

Approximately 400 students attended the meeting, representing 24 high schools. This was the first year RCHS had entered the contest. Russell’s topic was “The Business Executive”.
