The Amis6ville Rescue Squad took Junior Martin from his home to Fauquier Hospital, Warrenton Tuesday night. Last Thursday the Chester Gap Rescue Squad ambulance brought Mrs. Homer Crites from University Hospital in Charlottesville to her home in Front Royal. The Fire Company truck answered a call to a brush fire at the home of Lawrence Chadwell last Tuesday evening. On Saturday afternoon they went to assist the Front Royal Fire Dept, at a grass fire in Harmony Hollow orchards. The Washington Fire Company answered calls to a field fire on the property of 01 lie Atkins on Wednesday, March 19 and on Saturday to a field fire across from Gibson Whortons.

On Friday, March 21 the Rappahannock Rescue Squad took Mrs. J. Harvey Dailey from home in Sperryville to Warren Memorial Hospital. On Sunday a Mr. and Mrs. Clark and daughter from Hyattsville, Md. were taken from a wreck caused by deer at Beach Springs to the Luray Hospital.

On Monday of last week the Flint Hill Fire Company answered a call to a field fire at the home of Grady Vest and on Tuesday answered a call to the home of David Foster for field fire. The Flint Hill Rescue on Friday took Mrs. Frank Atkins from home to Culpeper Memorial Hospital.

On Monday of last week Sperryville Fire reported to the Cab-Inn for a brush fire and the Esso Station where a tree was or fire. Saturday afternoon they responded to a call to a field fin at the Nelson Nethers property
