Once upon a time there was a tittle boy playing under a bed, as little boys sometimes do. Suddenly he called to his mother, who was in the adjoining room: “MOM, where did you say people came from?” “DUST”! “And where did you say they go?” “Back to dust.” “Well, there is somebody under here, eithei coming or going.” That is an oldie, but kind of cute. The Bible says-man came from the dust of the earth and must return to dust. Ernie Ford, in the song that made him famous, said a man is made of mud. Paul Harvey says, “Man is mud, but with a grandeur that will never let him rest until he accomplishes that for which he was created.” Some of us take a lot of pride in these mud huts we are living in. Some of them look much better than others, but they are not
