Georgetown College, Ky. was at the home of his parents the Rev. and Mrs. B. Gale Titchenell for a week’s vacation. On Sunday and Monday he and Mrs. Titchenell visited relatives in Mannington, W. Va. t Mr. and Mrs. Haywood Jenkins and Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Jenkins were in Winchester Sunday to visit Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Jenkins. On Monday Mr. and Mrs. Cliff Sisk of Sperryville were supper [guests of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Jenkins.
Mrs. Charlie Settle returned home Friday from the Culpeper Memorial Hospital. On Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Faulkner of Amissville and Mrs. Tom Grigsby of Castleton visited Mrs. Settle and Miss Edna Bayne. Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Johnson and Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Johnson were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Highlander of Culpeper. Miss Bonnie Nethers of Silver Spring, Md. spent the weekend with her mother Mrs. Earl Wharton. Mrs. Frank Armentrout and Mrs. Floyd Brown of Front Royal; Mrs. John Creel of Culpeper; and Mrs. Chester Wayland of Woodville were recent guests of their sister Mrs. Lucille Corbin in Madison.
Mrs. Dallas Sharpe of Courtland spent Wednesday night at the home of her aunt Mrs. R. L. Rudasill. On Sunday Mrs. Lawson Pankey and four children of Richmond visited her mother, Mrs. Rudasill.
Mr. and Mrs. J. M. O’Bannon were in Richmond on Friday evening especially to attend the ceremonies and banquet when their son John Maurice was initiated into the University of Richmond chapter of Phi Beta Kappa, International Honor Society.
