NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC

The Commission of Gafhe and Inland Fisheries at a meeting held in Richmond, Virginia, on March 7, 1969, adopted the following regulation pursuant to Sections 29-125. 29-126 and 29-127 of the Code of Virginia.

CHAPTER 18. Turkey R 18-2.1. It shall be lawful to hunt bearded turkeys only from April 19 to May 10, 1969, both dates inclusive, from one-half hour before sunrise to 11 o’clock a.m., statewide, except in the counties of Buchanan, Buckingham, Dickenson, froochland. King and Queen, Kin* William, Lee, Louisa, Prince Edvard. Russell, Scott, Sposylvania ind Wise; and on Clinch Mountain Wildlife Management Area in *»myth and Tazewell counties and Hidden Valley Wildlife Management Area in Washington County, which shall be closed to hunting. In the •ounties of Caroline* and Highland lunting shall be restricted to military areas, National Forest lands ind lands owned by the Game Commission. Bearded turkeys shall be lunted by calling:. It shall be unawful to use dogs or organize lrives for the purpose of hunting. This shall become effective April 9 1969.

The Commission of Game and Inland Fisheries at a meeting held in Richmond, Virginia, on March 7, 1969, ordered the following proposed changes in its regulations pursuant to Sections 29-125, 29-126 ind 29-127 of the Code of Virginia. A public hearing for this purpose of adopting such changes will be held at 4010 West Broad Street, Richmond, Virginia,, at 9:30 a.m., April 17, 1969.
