Jane Kilby of Sperryville will receive the Good Citizen Award given each year to a senior student at Rappahannock County High School. The award is presented by the Culpeper Minuteman Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution and selection is based on dependability, leadership, service and patriotism. Three candidates were chosen by the senior class and relayed to the school faculty which determined the winner. Miss Kilby is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Kilby of Sperryville. Among the school activities in which she participates are cheerleading, writing for annual, treasurer of senior class and president of the National Honor Society. The award will be made at the JamiSjnheeting of the Culpeper DAR. This chapter also makes a like award to a senior of Culpeper and Madison county high schools.
