Library Lines
From the looks on the children’s faces, Santa's visit to the library last Saturday was an overwhelming success, and his gift of a fine book to each visitor was even better. The party, sponsored by the Public Welfare Foundation and the Rappahannock Library jointly, was well attended. Even the parents seemed to have fun!
Mr. George Davis contributed a 12-foot well-shaped tree, the Foundation donated the decorations, and many assistant Santas helped put the whole show on the road. Most hearty thanks and gratitude are due the Reverend Hargett, who answered an emergency call to help get the tree up at considerable inconvenience to himself.
