Mr. and Mrs. F. L. Bowey were dinner guests Sunday of Dr. and Mrs. William Linne’ in Fairfax and in the evening visited the Rev. and Mrs. Charles Kindred. The Boweys will be dinner guests Christmas Day of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Maxsell in Silver Spring, Md.
Mr. and Mrs. D. G. Laing and Miss Nini Laing will spend Christmas Day with Dr. and Mrs. Noel Laing and family in Purcellville where they will be joined by Mr. and Mrs. Dwight Platt of Annanpolis, Md.
Carolers Entertain
The residents of the Virginia Baptist Home in Culpeper were entertained Sunday by the intermediate and young people’s classes of Amissville Baptist Church Sunday School. The group, under the direction of Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Waggener, sang carols, impersonated Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer, had Santa with them and distributed gifts.
