and three children, Natalie, Jimmy and Bobbee arrived on Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Swindler for the holidays after a four year tour of duty in Ankara, Turkey. Enroute home they visited in London, England.
Randolph Devers who has been a patient in Culpeper Memorial Hospital for several weeks returned home on Tuesday. Buddy Devers of Front Royal visited him on Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Brown and family entertained at a pre-Christmas family dinner on Sunday at their home “Missin Acre”. Their guests included Mr. and Mrs. Russell Jortes of Winchester, Mr. and Mrs. Benny Brown, Mr. and Mrs. Haywood Griffith and daughters, Peggy and Linda, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Bruce, Roy Williams and son Mike all of Front Royal. Also Mike Reynolds of New Jersey, Charles Bruce of Washington, Mr. and Mrs. George Taylor of Culpeper, John Lee Taylor and Margie Ferness of Arlington, Mrs. J. D Brow n of Buena Vista and Mrs Nina B. Brown. Mrs. J. D. Brown remained for a weeks visit.
Christmas Five and holiday guests of Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Aylor were Mr. and Mrs. Tommy Co/./.o of Falls Church, Buddy Aylor of Annandale and Charles Battaglia of Howard Beach, New York.
Mrs. W. A. Harrison and Kevin and Karen attended the Whitehurst Reunion in Raleigh, North Carolina on Sunday and returned home on Monday.
