Last week, the factor of safety was discussed for the holiday season in regard to decorating Christmas trees. Hopefully you have a tree up by now. so the thought comes to mind that quite a few persons will begin entertaining or will be entertained from now and until after the New Year begins. Again, safety should be considered. The big ingredient is ALERTNESS.
When entertaining provide large ashtrays for smokers and make certain contents are completely out before emptying. Watch out for toys, decorations and other things that may be bumped into, knocked over, or cause a fall. This is particularly important, if you are entertaining and serving alcohol. As a host you have a responsibility for your guests - safety, and alertness is an important key to avoiding accidents in your home. I hope you have a most pleasant holiday season.
