Mrs. May belle Gilkey and Kelly, Mrs. Ethel Williams and Cindy, Mrs. Pearl Mills and Mrs. Ann Chadwell attended the Christmas program at the Rappahannock Elementary School on Friday.
Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Gilkey and family and Mr. Stanley Williams were Sunday dinner guests of Dr. and Mrs. Donald H. McNeill of Front Royal. Others present were Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Sibert and family and Mr. and Mrs. Maynard Williams and family of Front Royal and Mr. and Mrs. Bernie Burnette and son of Falls Church.
The Chester Gap Volunteer Fire Dept, were called to the Black Rock Farm on Sunday afternoon for a field fire.
Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Gilkey and family visited Mr. and Mrs. Joe Bowers of Front Royal on Monday.
Miss Barbara Steele had a Christmas party, Saturday night at the Fire Hall. There were approximately twenty in attendance.
