Famous People
Mr. Harry Gilroy’s talk for the Rappahannock Library Information and Entertainment Series will cover interviews with such famous personalities as Noel Coward, W. Somerset Maugham, Prances Parkinson Keyes, Marianne Moore, Fannie Hurst, Marjorie Kellogg, Alberto Moravia, Lawrence Durell, Harold MacMillan (ex-Prime Minister of England), and Alfred P. Sloane, Jr. (of General Motors). Mr. Gilroy was for many years a Foreign Cor respondent and writs for The New York Times. He is now retired and lives at Huntly, Va. The . program at the Library, Washington, Va., will be at 8 pjn. on October 23, 1970. The public is cordially invited.
************ Last week’s announcement of this program erroneously identified Mr. Gilroy as Editor of the Sunday Book Review section of The New York Times. Mr. Gilroy informs us that he was Assistant to the Sunday Editor and worked on the Sunday Magazine, but was not the Editor of the Book Review Section.
