The Flint Hill Rescue Squad on Friday took Raymond Jenkins from Foster’s Packing House to Warren Memorial Hospital, Front Royal.
Flint Hill Fire Company answered a call Sunday to a field fire on the Vierling property.
Amissville Rescue Squad took O. C. Mitchell to Fauquier Hospital, Warrenton on October 13. On the 16th, a child was taken from the Russell Wharton home at Jeffersonton to Culpeper Memorial Hospital and home. The same night the squad responded to an accident just east of Amissville and took four victims to Fauquier Hospital. Mrs. Frank Stringfellow was taken to Culpeper Memorial Hospital October 17.
Inquisitive residents of the Amissville area are requested to refrain from calling the fire and rescue telephone number when the siren blows to find out where emergency units are going. Mrs. Scott, who handles these calls is a busy housewife with a large family to tend, and should not be burdened with unnecessary calls.
