Dr. Carroll B. Quaintance of Sperryville has recently been admitted on motion to the Virginia Bar. He is a member of the District of Columbia Bar, the Federal Bar and Patent Bar. He received his B.S. degree from the College of William and Mary, an M.A. from Pennsylvania, an L.L.B. from Rutgers University , and a Ph.D. from Columbia University.
Piedmont School Has
Over 200 Eve. Pupils
Piedmont Vocational School began its sixth semester of adult education classes on Sept. 15, with over two hundred evening students. The first evening classes began February 1968, with two classes of business education and classes in Adult Basic Education that were formerly held in Orange County.
One of the popular areas is classes in Business Education. Subjects offered during the year are Shorthand I and II, Typewriting I and II, Data Processing I and II, Business English, Bookkeeping I and II, and Keypunching. A course in Real Estate License Preparation was offered last semester and is presently being offered now. Additional courses in Real Estate such as Financing, Real Estate Math, and Appraisal are! scheduled to be given this year.
With cooperation of local banks in (JJulpeper, Madison, and Orange Counties, The American Institute of Banking classes are offered as an opportunity for upgrading bankers. These classes were formerly held at the University of Virginia, Charlottesville, and are now under the auspices of a local AIB study group.
