Krause. Miss Dorothy Moore of Vienna spent the weekend with her parents at Rock Hill Farm. Miss Judy Burtner is attending a meeting of Northern District Extension Agents held from Wednesday thru Friday at Harrisonburg. Mrs. Mary Cleverley accompanied by her daughter, Mrs. Warren McConchie, of Arlington attended a memorial service Saturday for personnel of the Red Cross who had served over seas. The service was held in the garden at the National Red Cross Headquarters in Washington, D. C. and was sponsored by the American Overseas Association.

Chastain and Mrs. Bessie Parks spent from Wednesday to Friday in Glenolden, Pa. where they were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Philip Moore and the Moore’s grandson Marvin Nielsen, Jr., who is a student in Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia. Mrs. Marie Williams is a patient in Warren Memorial Hospital. Hubert Gilkey, Clevie Williams and Benjy Atkins attended the fire school banquet at the Amissville Fire Hall Friday night. Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Campbell, Peggy Ann, Mrs. Addie Wines and Mrs. Mary Wines were visitors Monday in Charlottesville. Mr. and Mrs. Bernie Burnette and son David of Falls Church were Saturday visitors of Stanley Williams and Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Gilkey and family. Mrs. Shirley Shelton of Alexandria spent the weekend, with her mother, Mrs. Myrtle Chastain and her sister, Mrs. Bessie Parks. Tim Williams, son of Mr. and Mrs. Timmy Williams, celebrated his 6th birthday on Thursday by having'“friends' in Tor dessert'.
