County Library
A Christmas party for the children of Rappahannock County will be held at Rappahannock Library in Washington on Saturday morning, December 19 from 19 to 11 o’clock. All children are cordially invited to attend.
The party is sponsored and supported by the Rappahannock Jaycees, and’ its president James Leake assures the children that Santa Claus will be present with bags of candy and a gift for each child.
Jenkins Case Sent
To Grand Jury
A preliminary hearing was held Tuesday in Rappahannock County court for Robert Nelson (Bobby) Jenkins of Woodville who is charged with manslaughter in the fatal shooting of John Robert Jenkins, also of Woodville. The shooting occurred on November 12. The case was sent to the grand jury which will convene January 11, 1971.
