years ago that I fell into an old closed “water well!” I was a small boy at the time and it was my understanding (later in life) that this well had many feet of water left in it.

When I fell, my grandfather, by God’s mercy was nearby and heard me go down. He himself came down this well and hauled me back to life again! Although the miles and years have separated we two he has always been close to my heart.

Therefore 1 respectfully request that your newspaper thank for me all of those who sent flowers and cards or attended his funeral. He was a big man, with a big heart and a life saving hand.

Sincerely,

Do you have a map showing the route of the proposed power line running over the county? There has been much to say on this subject in recent weeks and as yet I have not been able to find a plan for the line. My concern is where will the line run, how much of the county does it cover and will it be only a service to the power company or will the availability of this line serve new power requirements of Rappahannock in the future? All of these things and many more must be considered before the O.K. is granted. If you have a county map showing the route of this
