Mrs. Myrtle Stover
• Mrs. Myrtle Elizabeth Stover, wife of Cletus T. Stover, Jr. of , Amissville, died December 15, , 1970 at the Fauquier Hospital, ' Warrenton. She was 54, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Holmes.
A funeral service will be held Friday, Dec. 18 at the Amissville United Methodist Church at 2 p.m. conducted by the Rev. W. A. Layman. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
In addition to her husband she is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Joan S. Wines of Amissville; two sons, Harold C. Stover of Amissville and Richard E. Stover of Warrenton, and four grandchildren. Also a brother, Irvin Holmes of Amissville; a half-sister, Mrs. Mamie Corqin of Casanova, Va.; and two half-brothers Walter Holmes of Amissville and Harvey Holmes of Warrenton.
Moser Funeral Home of Warrenton is in charge of arrangements.
H. F. Manuel
Herbert Frank Manuel, 80, of Chillicothe, Ohio died there on Friday, December 11,1970.
Mr. Manuel, a native of Washington, Va., had lived in Ohio for many years. He was the son of the late Robert E. and Annie Clark Manuel.
He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Luther Coppage of Marshall and Mrs. James Lillard of Washington, Va., and a brother, Thomas II. Manuel of Winchester.
A graveside funeral service was held at the Washington Masonic Cemetery on Monday at 2 p.m. The Rev. William A. Harrison of Sperryville conducted the service.
Pallbearers were W. A. Curtis, J. Stant Weaver, Thomas Manuel, Charles Burke, Judd Burke and Gibson Wharton.
