Garden Club Sets
Flower Show for May
The Rappahannock County Garden Club announces plans for a Flower Show to be held May 22, 1971.
Mrs. E. A. McNear, Chairmen I of the Flower Show Committed,' held a planning meeting at Greenwood Farm Thursday, January 28 with the following committee members present: Mrs. C. H. Estes, Mrs. G. Cosden, Mrs. C. E. Johnson, Jr., Mrs. Ian Pryde, Mrs. E. D. Flynt, Mrs. R. F. Tuma, Mrs. F. J. Leonard and Mrs. R. P. Anderson.
Receives Degree
William Tapp has received a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Heald Engineering College in San Francisco, Calif. Mr. Tapp attended Rappahannock public schools and was graduated from Fauquier High School. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John A. Tapp of Amissville.
Mr. Tapp is employed with the U. S. Government and has recently been transferred to Washington, D. C. from the west coast. At the present Mr. Tapp with his wife and small son Kevin are staying with his parents.
