Mass consumption is a third part of the recipe for good living. Mass production and mass distribution and marketing call fdr large numbers of consumers, with a large number of them using a product or service. We do have large numbers of people, over 200 million of them.

We also have large concentrations 'of people, with a 50 million plus population in the Norfolk to Boston Megolopolis. And many of us will buy a product or service. So, mass consumption has assisted greatly in the total effort toward higher 'living standards.
