Mv colleagues and I here at the March of Dimes Meningomyelocele Clinic have been particularly concerned about this. We know what potential these children have if given the right kind of support and direction. Recently we finished a study of a small group of patients and families from the clinic to learn more about the social and emotional pressures these children face as they grow older. Much valuable information was uncovered and we have set up several new programs to deal with these needs.
