Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Wayland and daughter Becky of Fairfax spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Jack Wayland. They were joined for dinner Sunday by Mr. and Mrs. Alfonso Craun of Orange.

Mr. and Mrs. Edward Clatterbuck of Arlington were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Carson B. Johnson on Saturday.

Mr. and Mrs. Donald Williams of Richmond spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Maury W. Brown.

The Official Board of Sperryville United Methodist Church met with Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Wayland last Wednesday night. Those attending were the Rev. Jerry Campbell, Mrs. Ninai B. Brown, Mrs.' F. D. Coffey, Mrs. Catherine Brown, Mrs. Virginia Lewis, Mrs. Lee Swindler also Mrs. Pauline Eubank, Mrs. Jimmy Swindler, J. R. Devers and Nelson Nethers.

Marsha Coates of Etlan spent the weekend with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Nethers and returned home Sunday with her mother Mrs. John Coates.
