In Short Time Spa

A series of traffic crashes, seven in a four day period, have dominated the scene in Rappahannock, though no series injury has resulted from them. Some, however not all, have resulted from icy road conditions.

At 1:15 a.m. on February 5, James Robert Tyson of Oklahoma City, Okla. skidded on the ice in his 69 Chevrolet, ran off the left of the road and struck a pole. This accident occurred on Route 211 two and a half miles east of Amissville. Tyson is a Marine stationed at Quantico. Damage to his vehicle was estimated at $1,400, but no serious injury resulted.

The same day at 12:45 p.m. two miles south of Sperryville on Route 231 a single car crash of almost identical circumstances
