All manner of weather has been experienced in the past week. There has been rain, hail, sleet, snow, more of each and then sunshine. Temperatures fluctuate and thus produce a variety of precipitation. Tuesday morning found the mountains glistening with a sheer coating of ice. Every leaf, twig and blade of grass was covered and as the sun light reflected a rainbow was visible in each prism. This scene is at Panorama where Skyline Drive was closed because of hazardous road conditions. Notice the ice covered trees and banks.
