Thomas A. 'O’Halloran ol Viewtown has just been appointed District Deputy Grand Master of the 4th Masonic District by Charles F. Shuler, the newly elected Grand Master of Masons in Virginia. This District is composed of the lodges in Warrenton, Washington, Va., Marshall and The Plains. As District Deputy Mr. O’Halloran will supervise the operation of the lodges in his district, act as representative of the Grand Master and as contact with the Grand Lodge when required. He is a Past Master of Washington Lodge No. 78, Past High Priest of Arlington Royal Arch Chapter No. 35, and Past Eminent Commander of Fairfax Commandry No. 25, Culpeper. Mr. O’Halloran is native of Washington, D. C. and was employed by the Chesapeake and Potomac Telephone Company for 43 years before his retirement.
Bridge Club Hosted By Mrs. Snead
Mrs. J. P. Snead, Jr. entertained the Sperryville Bridge Club on Friday night at her home.
Her guests included Mrs. Roy L. Reeve, Mrs. W. H. Cordle, Mrs. T. J. Pillar, Mrs. L. J. Kilby, Mrs. Fred W. Schaefer, Mrs. R. E. Wood, Mrs. Brown Miller, Mrs. Edward Haggerty, Mrs. Charles H. Estes, Mrs. E. A. McNear, Mrs. R. E. Thompsen and Mrs. Mary Quaintance. Prizes were given to Mrs. Kilby, Mrs. Wood and Mrs. Pillar.
